Alessandro Ravera

Alessandro Ravera

After high school degree I graduated in Architecture, I mainly dedicated to the field of urban studies, cooperating with the contemporary architecture course of the Facoltà di Architettura of Genoa and taking part in many conferences and meetings both in Italy and abroad. At the same time, I was involved in the publishing of popular science (both digital and on paper) with New Mediaround , where I took part in the team elaborating the content and the drafting of iconographic research texts; I dealt with many scripts such as: the digital version of Storia dell'Arte in Italia (History of Art in Italy) GC Argan for Rizzoli; the creation of a digital historical Atlas for La Grande Storia Universale (The Great Universal History) for Mediaport Milan; I produced texts and insights for I Grandi Filosofi (the great philosophers) and I Grandi della Scienza for Il Sole 24 ore. If I am to believe Tripadvisor, up to today I have visited 25% of dryland... but to be honest – a bit like the Marco Polo of the Invisible Cities. I've always been interested in what people think of Genoa and how Genoa answers to people’s needs...and since I've been a guide (2013) I can tell visitors.
