Forbidden love

Come close and listen to a forgotten (and forbidden) tale: the story of the most epic Stunt that took place in Genoa. On an ordinary evening in the late 30’s, inside the most luxurious and exclusive among the city’s brothels – the Suprema –  a group of students was “busy” chatting with some girls. But suddenly an upset madam chased them away! Her attitude was suspicious, so they decided to hide nearby and wait for something to happen. After some time  a group of high-ranking hierarchs from the nearby Carlo Felice Theater appeared from a distance. They had taken advantage  of the lights going out to leave their private stage and move to a more “relaxed” atmosphere. Once the last prestigious guest entered, the legendary black butler of the Suprema leaned the gate that protected the entrance, without closing it completely. Why? Because the old lock was faulty, and once closed it could not be opened. Our naughty spies were well aware of it… so the “dissatisfied customers” closed the gate and disappeared into the night. Some hours later, the lights started to turn on in the theater and guess what? A certain private stage was “surprisingly” empty. The audience was stunned. In the meanwhile, only a few thousand miles away, some firemen were noisily trying to open a sturdy 19th-century grille, from which a sad procession of Suprema’s customers would have emerged. The confusion attracted many curious onlookers, who easily recognised the personalities who should have been at the Opera. However, the next day there was no mention of the issue in the newspapers…
